Venue Manager
We are currently seeking a Venue Manager who will direct, plan and oversee all aspects of the historic Val Air Ballroom located in West Des Moines, Iowa. Responsibilities will include booking the venue, fiscal planning, food and beverage supervision and marketing events. The position will oversee the day-to-day operations and will be responsible to oversee all staff.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years venue management experience with a strong emphasis on booking.
Previous supervisory experience is required.
Knowledge of marketing, financial planning and food and beverage experience is preferred.
Knowledge of the Spanish language is a plus.
